The short version
- No cookies, no accounts, no ads and no tracking across other websites.
- We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is anonymous and cookieless.
- If you email us, we use your message only to reply.
Who runs this site
Wardogspedia is run by an independent WARDOGS fan. For anything about this policy or your data, email contact@wardogspedia.com.
Visitor statistics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages are read most. A small script from Cloudflare reports each page view with:
- the page address and the page you came from (referrer),
- browser, operating system and device type,
- country, derived from your connection,
- page load timing.
The script doesn't set cookies or use local storage, and Cloudflare doesn't use your IP address or browser details to identify or follow you. We only ever see totals, never an individual visitor. We do this because we have a legitimate interest in knowing which pages are useful (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from attacks, Cloudflare processes technical request data such as your IP address. We don't run our own server logs. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie if it has to challenge suspicious traffic. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
Fonts are served from our own domain, so loading a page doesn't contact Google or any other font service.
Mail to contact@wardogspedia.com is forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to an inbox hosted by Google (Gmail). We use your address and message only to answer you and to fix what you reported, we never add you to a mailing list, and we delete the conversation once it is no longer needed.
Other websites
Pages link to other sites such as Steam and the tier lists we compare. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or UK GDPR), you can ask to see, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Because our statistics are anonymous, in practice this applies to emails you have sent us. Write to contact@wardogspedia.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Wardogspedia is a general-audience game wiki. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes
If we add anything that collects more data, such as ads or community voting, we will update this page and the date at the top before it goes live.
